JDM = japanese domestic market USDM = united states domestic market One engine was from a car made and driven originally in japan, and the other from one bought and driven in the us. As stated, search. you'll find out what the minor differences are between the two, what all you'll need to swap them, and what to watch out for along the way (oil pan).
